Saturday

On Saturday Maria made us a wonderful breakfast and then we went shopping at the outlets. After shopping we went to the beach (Matthew and Jennifer's first time at the beach). They had so much fun. Jennifer loved playing in the sand, and Matthew loved the ocean. He could not get enough of it.

We also got to see our friends from school, Boyd and Kathryn and their two sons Ben and Chase. They had told us that the aquarium was letting rescued sea turtles, that had recovered, back into the ocean at the beach we were at. They met us there to see that and then play a little bit. It was so great to see them. After the beach we all went to this really great hot dog place. Matthew and Ben were so cute. They sat next to each other and shared their dinner and talked like they were old friends.

While we were waiting for the sea turtles Matthew and Dad were feeding the seagulls the bread from the rest of Jennifer's turkey sandwich. They would throw the bread in the air and the seagulls would catch it. Matthew ran out of bread so he just threw the turkey in the air, before Luke could say anything, and a seagull ate it. (Sorry bird for making you a cannibal)
