Monday we drove down to FL. The kids were great in the car. We made really good time and so Matthew was able to get some pool time in before bed. We also got to eat at Friendly's (yea!), we were so excited to find out they had one just down the street from our hotel. Matthew got a monster ice cream cone. If you don't know what I am talking about, I'm sorry you have never got to enjoy the tasty treat of Friendly's.
Tuesday:
We took the shuttle from our hotel to Sea World in the morning. The first thing we did was feed the Sting Rays. Matthew was a little nervous at first but then he touched one and he thought it was great. After that we came back three or four more times for him to pet the Rays. Matthew also feed the dolphins. We got to go through the shark tank and see a Great White Shark (or as Matthew calls them, a Gray White Shark). We also got to see Barracudas and Parana's, the two things Matthew really wanted to see. Jennifer and I left about 2 because it was 97 degrees there and Jennifer needed a nap. But Luke and Matthew stayed for awhile longer.
They rode the Shamu Express 2 times, which is a small roller coaster, Matthew loved it. The also rode the sea carousel. Matthew was riding on a "bammer" head shark. Luke asked Matthew what he was riding on (Luke thought it was a shrimp), Matthew told him he it was a krill with teeth so the kids would like, because krill don't actually have teeth. When they got off the ride Luke asked to attendant what it was he was riding on and they lady told them it was a krill but most people think it's a shrimp.
